Where young people
make cinema differently

We are building an AI-native film studio from the ground up — no legacy, no templates.

A studio built for the
next generation of filmmakers

The film industry was designed for people who'd spent decades learning how it worked. We are building for the generation that never had to. If you think in frames, write in scenes, or train models instead of going to film school — this is where your instincts become a profession.

We don't want experience for its own sake. We want hunger, precision, and the ability to move between craft and code without losing either.

Who we're looking for

Three kinds of people are building Xanadu. You might be one, or more than one.

AI Filmmakers

Directors and cinematographers who are fluent in the grammar of cinema and are learning to direct AI instead of crews. You think about shot design, performance, colour, and continuity — but your tools are diffusion models, not location permits.

Writers

Screenwriters who understand structure, who can write dialogue that carries subtext, and who know that a great script is the only thing that makes a great film — regardless of how it's produced. Indian stories, Indian voices, Indian audiences.

Diffusion Model Specialists

Engineers and researchers who work at the boundary of machine learning and visual media. You fine-tune, evaluate, and push the state of what generative models can actually deliver at production quality — not demo quality.

Open positions

Why this studio, why now

The first film you make here matters

We are not a training programme. Work you do at Xanadu goes into production and reaches audiences. The standard is cinema-grade, the credit is real.

The technology is not a shortcut

We use AI because it lets us make films we couldn't otherwise afford to make — not to replace craft. Everyone on the team learns both sides of the stack.

India is the subject, not the backdrop

We make films about Indian people for Indian audiences. Language, context, and cultural specificity are not edge cases here — they are the entire point.
